IPKeys Joins Industry Leaders at the White House Summit on Smart Energy Markets & Grid Flexibility

Eatontown, NJ (June 21, 2016) – IPKeys met at the White House with other innovative leaders in demand response, energy storage and renewable energy. Commitments from government, utilities and commercial industries were made to deploy technologies that would build on partnerships to enhance a flexible, efficient, clean, and reliable 21st century power grid.

“We are very honored to be a part of this significant White House Summit on Smart Energy Markets and Grid Flexibility,” said Robert Nawy, Managing Director & CFO, IPKeys.  “The open standards cloud-based server to client premises hardware technology, Energy Interop Server & System® (EISS®) we have developed and commercialized since receiving an American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) grant from National Institute of Standards Technologies (NIST) in 2009 is proven and secure”.

EISS® is an enabling technology for the policies and emerging markets necessary to support the growth of intermittent supplies such as wind and solar power while enhancing grid reliability”, Nawy added. “The opportunity for all stakeholders working together is to make real-time price fluctuations and corresponding market behavioral responses to changing prices safe, standardized, economically feasible and secure”.

Please see the attached link below to the White House circular summarizing the event and detailing the commitments from all facets of the industry where IPKeys is listed amongst the key group of Developers, Manufacturers and Investor Announcements with the following commitment:
